WHERE ANGELS FEAR CONTEMPORARYBACKSTEVEN PEIRCEGALLERYMy name is Stephen Peirce and I am an artist working primarily in painting.I'm from the south of England. I gave up art school on my first attempt at 19. I returned some years’ later and completed my undergraduate course at Winchester school of Art. I secured a place on the postgraduate course at the Royal Academy Schools in London and graduated in 2002.I have been fascinated with painting and the possibilities of painting since I can remember. As a child I remember what amazing things hung on the walls of the museum and how they came to be.I work in a multi-stage process involving sculpture, photography and the computer all of which feed into the paintings..Professionally my goal is to add my voice to the advancement and development of Painting.
